Mangosteen

Mangosteens are a tropical fruit that have the texture of a peeled grape and a taste that is impossible to describe (think of how hard it would be to describe the taste of coffee or Coke to someone who has never had them!) so I'll just show you some pictures.

Step One: CRACK! The skin of the mangosteen is like bark or soft wood, so you can't eat the skin or cut it with a knife, so you have to crack it open like this.

Step 2: OPEN  Yes! Opened it perfectly! (see the gooey white meat)

Step 3: SEPARATE  One of the sections of the fruit up close

Step 4 Eat! Yum!
