Abby: Better

I don't have Dengue!!!! We went to the doctor again after we found out that it wasn't Dengue, by that time I had had a week of cough and fever. He put me on some antibiotics that cleared the fever in 48 hours. So I feel much better.

I still will have a lot of school work to do, and that won't be fun but at least I'll be at school rather than at home under a blanket! The Delhi trip was AWESOME! It was very relaxed and we all needed that. Pictures and details of that will be coming soon. While we were gone, Lego stayed at the place we bought him from. At first the people were very excited to get to see him again and thought that they wouldn't be able to let him go in the end. But I think that as we drove away they might have been thinking something more like,"I hope they don't ask us to keep HIM again". He did his 'business' all over their floor, chewed up their newspaper and drank the milk they put out for their pugs. I just hope he hasn't picked up any bad habits from their dogs!

Abby: Exams are Over!

We finished our exams this week! I got a few results and I think I've done pretty well. Our Grandma on my dad's side came on Thursday! We hadn't seen her in three months so the visit was really fun. She had just come back from staying at my cousin's place in New York, so she brought us some of the things we were missing from over there. Here's a picture of her with us:

I have had fever for the past several days. Yesterday Mom took me to the doctor and he ran tests for a mosquito-borne sickness called Dengue fever. It lowers the amount of platelets you have. They can prevent it from getting really bad but that means that they have to draw blood every two days and that's no fun. (I have needle phobia)  We find out if I have it on Monday (your Sunday night) so please pray that I don't!

Abby: Sorry!

Sorry about that last post! (the sentence-long one about exams "This last week our exams started")  It was a draft for a while, and I guess I just pushed a wrong button! But anyway, our exams did start last Monday. They went all last week and this week we have exams all day except for today because it is Gandhi's birthday so the whole country gets a day off. Exams here are different than those in the States. We have one exam a day up to three hours long, and once it is over, we can do whatever we want until we go home at 12:30.

Lego just recently turned 5 months! He is big and bad. Three weeks ago he ate a handkerchief and (for lack of a better word) puked it up three days later! He's outgrown his bed, kennel and about to out grow his harness and he broke his leash! He's a lot of work but he's worth it (to me at least). Here's a picture to show you just how bad he is:
