We're Here!

We are finally here!! The flight was alright but all of us had a hard time sleeping. I find it kind of strange that we left on a Sunday had about twenty-one hours before we got here and here it's a Tuesday! We had a great time at the Dubai Airport, and as you can see in the picture we even did some exploring. What we are standing by is a huge golden-looking metal camel in front of a shop full of stuffed camels and other Arab souvenirs . In the Bangalore Airport we didn't do so much exploring because it was three in the morning, so most of the shops were closed. We stayed up most of the night because of jet-lag. I am not tired this morning but I know it is coming. Andrew has a double ear infection so please pray for him. So far we haven't thought of any thing that we've forgotten so you must have been praying! Please keep it up!

I liked the movies on the seat back in front of me. I didn't like all the ear pain that I had on the first flight. The other thing that was cool was that there was one channel where we could see out of the front of the plane or the bottom of the plane through cameras on the outside of the plane. That way, we could see outside even though we didn't have a window seat.

I didn't sleep yet after coming here. We saw the dogs (both German Shepherds) that belong to the family we are staying with. They are huge and one jumped on me, but both are really friendly. Abby will write more about them later. My mom and I saw a cute bird with a yellow breast and otherwise mostly black that she said looks like a finch. It was in the mango tree just outside the porch. I think for now, I'm going to try to sleep!
