A few days ago we all went to an apartment. It is a three bedroom, three bathroom, three balcony apartment. It is on the ground floor and has a wonderful cross breeze. Two of the bedrooms have balconies and the living room has one too. My dad and Andrew love it. I only want to live there while we find a real house. Mom and Dad think that we will move in in a week or two. If we get this apartment we won't get a German Shepard, we will hopefully get a beagle or some other smallish inside dog. Today we went to the apartment again to take measurements for furniture. We also decided who gets which room. Andrew and
I each get rooms with balconies and there is a balcony connected to the
living room. Afterwards Mom and I walked over to the furniture shop to take pictures of furniture that we might like.
As for the car, Dad found one that we all like (even though the rest of us have only seen pictures) it's a 2004 Honda CRV. We think that we can get it, Dad even put some money down on it! Until we get the car we will still have to hire a driver and a car. (kinda like a taxi service) We have already found a driver that we really like and will hire him until we get the car.

| This is us standing on the porch. We think the dog will probably sleep out here. |

| This is us staning near the entrance to the room. The wardrobe is in the "hallway" opposite the bathroom as soon as you come in the room. Yes, we all get our own bathroom! |

Did you climb in the wardrobe just to be sure Narnia wasn't on the other side? Having a balcony sounds really neat- especially to curl up on with homework or a good book.

No, we didn't climb in but we will have to try! If it is we will be sure to write about it : )! We miss you!

Great news, about both the apartment and the car!
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind, even though a beagle is a smallish dog, they are not just inside dogs. Beagles are bred as hunters and trackers, like their cousins the bloodhounds. They need lots of outdoor space to roam and run. I grew up with a beagle. He liked our huge back yard.

This is interesting. I just noticed that my previous post has a time stamp of 6:55 pm, even though I posted it at 8:55 pm. I wonder where the blog thinks I am posting from. Somewhere on the U.S. west coast.

I hadn't noticed that! Miss ya!

from Bethany - I was thinking the same thing Jessica said, did you climb into the wardrobe and see if Narnia was on the other side? We are listening to the Prince Caspian DVD you gave us, reading the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and watching the BBC movie of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe all at the same time. We are doing Narnia, Narnia, Narnia.
ReplyDeleteYOur house looks cool. I like the picture where you and Andrew are laughing.
I miss you!

ReplyDeleteHi Abby and Andrew I love reading your blog..you're doing a great job. I may be mistaken...do you have a new dog? or is there a new dog photo each day on the blog??? Abby we missed you at TGIF tonight!!!
ReplyDeleteSheriQ
I missed being at TGIF! To answer your question, We did not get a puppy yet (we have to wait until we come back in April) but when we set up the blog it came with this thing called the daily puppy. Every time you look at the blog a new puppy picture shows up.
